For more than 30 years, the Information & Education Division of California Family Health Council has been a leader in the development of health education training and resources for health care providers nationwide. We are a non-profit organization committed to helping you make a difference in the lives of the people you serve.
Our vision is of a world in which adequate health, education, and human services are equally available to all.
To make that happen, we work to provide you, the health care professional, with the tools you need to promote and maintain the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
Our unique client-centered approach to patient education is dedicated to creating effective patient education materials that are appropriate for and sensitive to readers – their cultural values, life realities, and reading levels. All CFHC materials are developed by health professionals and extensively field-tested with clients. As our communities become more diverse, many health and advocacy organizations face the challenge of serving limited English proficiency clients. CFHC’s multilingual and multicultural staff offers services and products designed to assist you in reaching these populations with critical health information.
As experts in training health care personnel, CFHC has trained thousands of health care professionals from clinics, hospitals, physician’s offices, advocacy groups, and community organizations nationwide. Our national conferences offer practical, up-to-date, direct patient care information from trusted experts in the women’s and reproductive health community.
CFHC is committed to enhancing the work you do to help people lead healthier lives.
